Yoghurt is a fermented milk product made by fermenting milk with a special ferment, consisting of thermophilic lactic streptococci and a Bulgarian bacillus.
As a result of the ripening process, yoghurt produces lactic acid and carbon dioxide, which gives yogurt a unique specific refreshing effect.
